Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our Central MK depot operations. You will manage a team of 25 staff, coordinate daily transport schedules, and drive continuous improvement across our distribution network. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Responsibilities

Manage daily depot operations including vehicle allocation and driver scheduling
Lead a team of 25 warehouse and transport staff with full P&L accountability
Optimise route planning to reduce costs and improve delivery times
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and transport regulations
Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards
Liaise with key clients on service reviews and continuous improvement
Manage relationships with subcontractors and agency partners

Requirements

5+ years in logistics management within a fast-paced distribution environment
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in National/International Road Haulage
Strong experience with WMS and TMS platforms
Proven track record of leading teams of 20+ people
Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
Full UK driving licence
